WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS
UPCOMING SERMON
Sunday, August 13, 2023, we will continue the seven week series on “Prayer.” We will examine what prayer is, what it looks like both personally and corporately, and a few different types of prayers (adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication). Pastor AQ Thompson will preach from Psalm 51. We encourage you to prepare for Corporate Worship by reading and praying through the text prior to the message.
HRF INSTITUTE
Join us this Sunday at 10AM in the Fellowship Hall. We are currently teaching on, "Christ In The Old Testament," this week we will be going over Joel.
NEW CITY CATECHISM #33
For the week starting August 13, 2023.
Question: Should those who have faith in Christ seek their salvation through their own works, or anywhere else?
Answer: No, they should not, as everything necessary to salvation is found in Christ. To seek salvation through good works is a denial that Christ is the only Redeemer and Savior.
Scripture Memory Verse: Galatians 2:16
