UPCOMING SERMON
Sunday, July 30, 2023, we will continue the seven week series on “Prayer.” We will examine what prayer is, what it looks like both personally and corporately, and a few different types of prayers (adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and confession). Pastor Paul Speight will preach from Acts 4:23-31. We encourage you to prepare for Corporate Worship by reading and praying through the text prior to the message.

For the week starting July 30, 2023.
Question: What do we believe by true faith?
Answer: Everything taught to us in the gospel. The Apostles’ Creed expresses what we believe in these words: We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

WEDNESDAY EVENING FELLOWSHIP - Join us every Wednesday this Summer at 6:30PM for our small group study of “The Gospel Centered Community.” We will learn how the Holy Spirit shapes diverse people into a Christ-centered community that reflects Jesus to a watching world. This evening, July 26, we will meet at King Lincoln Park. See you there!
MEMBERS MEETING - Sunday, July 30, 2023 is our Members Meeting at 3PM in the Sanctuary. We would like as many members to be able to attend the meeting. We are making plans for childcare to free up members who would normally serve in HRF Kids and Students so that all of our members can participate.
