Sunday, August 27, 2023, we will conclude the seven week series on “Prayer,” focusing on supplication. Pastor Matt Hayes will preach from Philippians 4:4-7. We encourage you to prepare for Corporate Worship by reading and praying through the text prior to the message.
SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST
Join us on Sunday August 27th at 10AM for an opportunity to gather together. All families are invited and encouraged to bring a dish to share, coffee and juice will be provided. There will be no Nest, Institutes, HRF Students and HRF Kids during this time.

WEDNESDAY EVENING PRAYER - Join us Wednesdays during the month of August at 6:30 PM as we pray for our church, our families, our nation, and for the needs around our world. “Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks to God in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” I Thessalonians 5:16~18
HRF STUDENTS - Students 1st - 12th grade join us September 15th from 6PM - 8PM at the Slade’s home for an End of Summer Gathering of activities, food and fun. Please RSVP your student(s) by September 13th. For more information, please contact Shannon Logsdon.

BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLIES - HRF Students will be raising school supplies for Newport News Schools in need. If you don’t have kids, but want to help, please do! Please see back to school list HERE. Along with this list, the school mentioned they really need reusable water bottles. A bin will be upstairs outside the student classroom and in the library to collect items throughout the month of August.
