HRF Weekly Update - February 11, 2018

This Sunday, February 11, 2018, we will be continuing the series called “Gospel Identity - Who Am I?” Pastor Tony will be preaching from Philippians 2:5-8.

We encourage you to prepare for corporate worship by reading and praying through the text prior to the message on Sunday. Here is a list of the songs we will be singing this Sunday as well.

Here are a few discipleship resources our elders recommend checking out this week.

  • Consider Yourself Dead To Sin - If you are a Christian you don’t have to fight sin in order to be free from sin. If you are a Christian you fight sin because you have already been set free from sin.
  • Help, I’m Exhausted by Social Media - While we are called to love and serve the world around us, we are not called to be the universal burden-bearers. Here’s help for those exhausted by social media.
  • Finding Evidences of Grace - How do we go about identifying evidences of grace in our lives and in the lives of others? Here’s how.

Please read them and use them as discipleship opportunities to discuss with one another. You can also view an archive of recommended discipleship resources here.

We are excited to announce an opportunity to encourage us women to all press forward towards Christ together! Next year, HRF will be hosting a Women's Retreat for the women of HRF. The theme for the 2018 HRF Women's Retreat will be "Gospel, Safety, Time" and should serve as an opportunity for us all to better understand the role we each play in our responsibilities towards one another and cultivating a healthy gospel culture within our church body.
